This is to be My Symphony.

Madrid, Spain.

I read this quote in a book my mom gave me called Things I Want My Daughters To Know. I got chills as I read the beautifully constructed phrases. Truly, this quote is a work of art and it is has indeed become my personal symphony.

To live content with small means;
To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion;
To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich;
To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly;
To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart;
To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.
In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.

This is to be my symphony.

Dancing in the Rain.

Santa Monica.

It's about dancing in the rain. ::

Oh, Mexico. The Sun's So Hot, I Forgot to Go Home.

A photo montage of the most blissful Memorial Day Weekend spent on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas with 12 of the world's greatest...

The Funsaver underwater disposable camera. Maybe one of the best purchases I've ever made.

My heart.

Best friends since the Appalachian days.

Perfection.

Obviously, jumping off of the roof into the pool was a great idea.

Soul sisters.

Me and Christyn at the infamous El Squid Roe. Trying to be obnoxious vacationers; think we pulled it off?

The album cover.

Soulmates.

Spring break is for grown-ups.

Love me some Nick.

To be 21.

In honor of Andrew's 21st birthday (which was on April 24), and as an apology for my tardiness...

This post pays homage to Andrew Joseph Johnson, the best brother in the whole wide world. And to a 21st birthday no one will forget...

"You would think it's M***'s 21st...It's M***'s birthday, too!"
